Of the 96 apartments, 12 are studios and a further 59 are one-bedroom designs, perfect if you’re looking for a stylish, low-maintenance home base close to the action. And these are no ordinary one-bedroom apartments. Several have lofts and many have a study, allowing you to tailor your home to your lifestyle. There are also a number of two-bedroom plus study apartments and six superb three-bedroom penthouses. The building itself features contemporary styling that’s a breath of fresh air in an age of chunky, uninspired apartment block designs. Quayside’s glass-clad lower floors are the bed of reflected light on which the upper-floor apartments rest, separated by light-filled atriums and private roof-top garden areas.

Renowned architects Cox Humphries Moss have paid due attention to every detail, from the building’s placement to take advantage of the best light, through to ventilation and acoustic control. Throughout construction of Quayside, quality materials have been used to brilliant effect to enhance the crisp, city-smart appeal of these harbour-side apartments.

Take a closer look

Quayside has as many surprises inside as out. As well as being planned to create interesting living spaces, these apartments include intriguing features to make life easier and more fun.

You’ll be comfortable. There’s air conditioning in every apartment — split systems for apartments and fully ducted in the penthouses. All living and bedroom areas have quality carpets and, for an extra touch of luxury, penthouses have in-slab heating to warm the bathroom floors. All apartments have a minimum 5 star energy rating.

And this place is wired. A high speed communications infrastructure is in place to support data and phone services, with living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and studies supplied with multiple data outlets. There are free-to-air TV outlets in living areas and bedrooms and cabling to support pay-TV installation. If you choose a studio apartment, we’re even providing a Bose Portable Sounddock.

In the penthouses, we’re taking technology to a new level, with a system called C-Bus that lets you control all the lights in your apartment from one simple touch panel. The C-Bus system also controls your air-conditioning and floor heating in the bathroom. You can use it for other things as well — like controlling your blinds, or multi-room audio programming and for controlling home theatre equipment. You need to specify this before we build – ask for an estimate to upgrade.

All apartments have tiled balconies, while several apartments on Level 3 have private roof-top gardens. The penthouses have huge north-facing balconies, some wrapping around two sides of the apartment. Secure underground carparking and storage is provided for all apartments, with separate double lockup garages for penthouse residents. A programmable key-ring fob gives you keyless access to the car park, and building, while a colour audio visual intercom system provides security for your apartment.

Penthouses include additional features such as private secure lift lobbies, ensuites to both second and third bedrooms, Bosch washing machine and dryer and a wine cellar.
